that trowel is huge im used to the Philadelphia trowels
gd but all you saying his arms mst be strong, the blocks arent heavy.. thermalites
this lad still amasses me’ his good’
my grandpa used to be a mason… i remember arm wrestling him with his lifting arm and i was like oh shit! i didn’t stand a chance.
picking up a 12 inch block by the web and laying takes a man. I can’t do it and laid blocks. I like his back of trowel mud move on the front joint that’s different too than I learned how to do.
even if there are more efficient ways of doing this it’s besides the point. The man is clearly very proud of his work, rightfully so. Maybe it is a bit lacking in the slightest bit of humility but fuck it – if you’re that good brag away.
Your full of crap.
I’ve done it. . . .almost 18 yrs straight. .. no im not that good . . . . im better. way better. .
you’d be surprised. . I pumped em for 17+ yrs. . .your arm only gets so big. . . cuz the blocks only get so heavy.. . . .I was actually stronger as a HOD carrier. . .honestly. ..
am glad he did not choose any other profesion’ his too good
HIS BICEP MUST BE ENORMOUS…in his left arm. But STILL.
WASTED MOVEMENT,WERE,brickdetailsetc explain yourself.
He is a pimp with that trowel…
Looks to me like he has been doing it long enough to know whether should do it one handed or not, seems to work for him.
It doesn’t change the fact that he has a lot of wasted movement and one-armed block laying is not recommended.
What is that song please??
WOW!!! I know Ive gotten old when I get more excited watching this then a Lisa Lovelace laying:) GOOD POINT ABOUT THE HANDLING THOSE MONSTERS W/ ONE HAND!!!
Here, here, “the labourer is worth of his hire”
you guys havent done this obviously. he is great and you will never be that good!
One block is usually 39 cm and theres 1 Cm of cement on the side making it 40 cm, dont forget tho that everythign is actually calculated in MM so its 390 mm long and 190 mm high Or 400 and 200 with cement on it
Very clean and precise. A lot of wasted movement however. He also only has a couple of years left laying them one handed like that.
he makes it look slow but he aint!! just calm and precise.
what about flemish brickies?
there is a stringline there look closely.
no stringline,??? must be bloody rough work , a true ausie bricklayer would use a stringline unless building a corner
